Robert Eckstein

Robert Eckstein is co-author of a virtual reality sandbox technology called SandyStation which enables children, educators, artists and people from all age categories in general to build their own virtual worlds and simulate and educate people about complex physical phenomena in a fun and interactive way. His goal is to find applications of this technology for education, entertainment and rehabilitation worldwide. He started programming when he was 11 years old and IT is still his greatest hobby. Currently, he also does research in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence and teaches programming at University of West Bohemia, Czech republic.
