Biking to Boston to promote hope, peace, human development and the TEDx movement
Following his first successful Journey of the X to connect TEDxPortauPrince and TEDxSantoDomingo City 2.0 events, Carlos Miranda Levy is ready to get back on his bike with the goal of connecting Santo Domingo, Port-au-Prince, New York, Boston and Dubai in time for TEDxYouth day around the world and TEDxBeaconStreet in Boston.
His goal? To promote hope, peace and human development through trade and collaboration and to prove it can be done by riding the journey and making the contact and connections in person.
“For TEDxBeaconStreet, I plan to follow the same road from Santo Domingo to Port-au-Prince and then fly to New York and bike to Boston. I plan to carry an X on the bike like I did on the previous ride.”
