Lynn Margherio is the founder and CEO of Cradles to Crayons, an innovative nonprofit organization that equips children from birth through age 12 living in low-income situations with the basic items they need to feel safe, warm, valued and successful. Lynn’s leadership of Cradles to Crayons is informed by her lessons learned and her experiences working across the for-profit, social, and government sectors. In 2002, Cradles to Crayons launched in Boston under Lynn’s leadership and expanded to Philadelphia in 2006 followed by the launch of its Chicago site in 2016. With the vision that one day every child would have the everyday essentials they need to thrive at home and in the classroom, Lynn has harnessed the power of community.

Margherio was previously Executive Vice President of the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative, a program that assists developing nations in the implementation of large-scale HIV/AIDS care and treatment programs. One of the initiative’s hallmarks has been to make treatment more affordable to developing countries.

Margherio also has extensive experience as a business strategist and policy advisor in the Clinton White House.
